welcome pinni-pals!
This is the brand new homepage of the Seal of the Year competition! We've been holding a poll nearly every year since 2019 to nominate and vote on the cutest, funniest and silliest seals the year has to offer. And although we're called Seal of the Year, we're not strictly limited to true seals. We also accept any notable sea lion, walrus or fur seal this year brings us.

Voting starts January 6th, 2026 so mark your calendars!

We're still on tumblr too, so follow us there as well for updates and cute seal pics!
